Hi Victor, In short yes massage can help in the short term. It can relieve your tightness and help with pain. It has been used by athletes for a long time to help muscles recover quicker. You will understand that the glutes are always in motion when you run. They will be stressed by this exercise and can become over-stressed. You might be doing something new as well in the gym maybe? It might be worth giving your muscles time to recuperate. Then be a mindful of putting them under too much pressure when you get back to your normal exercise routine. Take things slowly when you start to do new exercise because you will be using new muscles in a new way and you body will appreciated it I promise.
